Adult Social Club
More Than Just a Day Program
A perfect fit for those who thrive in social settings and enjoy being active in group activities. Members build social skills through fun group outings and center-based activities. Available Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, year-round.

Your Own Place, With All the Support of a Group Home
Members live independently or semi-independently in their own apartment, alone or with a roommate. Our staff comes to them and provides everything a Group Home offers: medication management, transportation, groceries, and daily support, while members keep their freedom and routine.

What is Adult Day Support?
Adult Day Support gives adults with developmental disabilities a safe, structured place to spend their day in Richmond, VA. Members build life skills, friendships, and independence through activities designed around their goals and well-being. Our Day Support program runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, year-round.
Who can participate in your programs?
Our programs welcome adults with developmental disabilities throughout Central Virginia. To receive services, an individual generally needs an active Virginia waiver: the FIS Waiver, the Community Living (CL) Waiver, or the Building Independence (BI) Waiver. If you don't have a waiver yet, you can apply through your local Community Services Board (CSB). Our team and your Support Coordinator will help you through every step of that process.
What days and hours are your programs offered?
All programs run year-round. Community Engagement is available 7 days a week, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Adult Day Support runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Group Home Services provide residential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Contact our team to confirm the schedule at the location nearest you.
Do you provide transportation?
Yes, we help coordinate transportation to and from our programs and community activities. Available options depend on your location, so ask our team what works best for you.
What activities do you offer?
From community outings and social clubs to arts, fitness, games, and volunteering, our activities are planned around each member's interests, building real friendships and meaningful life skills along the way.
What is Supported Living?
Supported Living allows members to live independently or semi-independently in their own apartment, alone or with a roommate of their choice. Our staff comes directly to them and provides everything a Group Home offers: medication management, transportation, grocery shopping, and full daily support. Members keep their autonomy and routine while knowing a dependable team is always there when needed. FIS, CL, and BI Waivers accepted.
How do I enroll or schedule a tour?
The first step is to schedule a tour. Visit smileslikeyours.com/start to book your first visit. From there, your Support Coordinator submits a referral, we complete a short assessment together, and you become a member. We guide you through every step at no pressure.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Richmond and the surrounding Central Virginia communities, including Chesterfield, Henrico, Midlothian, and Chester. A new Hanover County location is coming soon.
